AMINO ACIDS AND NEUROTRANSMITTER WEBINAR
Neurotransmitter levels are critical factors in a healthy and balanced emotional state. Many of us suffer from imbalances in neurotransmitters that affect our emotional well-being and have exhausted western medicine’s pharmacological treatment options without finding real answers. Part of the solution lies in exploring the underlying biochemistry of the production of neurotransmitters, which starts with amino acids.
It is very important to understand that amino acids are the building blocks of neurotransmitters. Therefore, ensuring that your amino acids and nutrients are available and balanced for your body to be able to synthesize them into neurotransmitters is the most logical place to begin. The body is an amazing and complex biological masterpiece with multiple metabolic pathways. When all the nutritional components needed for a pathway to work properly are available, the body has the magical capacity to heal itself and achieve optimal health. No matter what the age or physiological state, there is always potential for healing.
The focus of this webinar will be to explore the relationship between your amino acid patterns and the metabolic pathways that synthesize neurotransmitters. Prior to the webinar you will be provided with a test kit in order to collect a simple blood specimen at home which then will be sent to the laboratory for analysis. I will review your test results and assign you to the webinar group of participants with similar profiles.
During the webinar, we will explore the amino acid patterns, and how they are related to your unique physiological and/or genetic profile. The group will explore how this particular pattern of amino acids relates to your mental and emotional well-being and, most importantly, what you can do nutritionally to maximize optimal function. Following the webinar, I will be sending you a customized report containing recommendations for supplementation and nutritional support that you can discuss with your current practitioner or physician.
In the Amino Acids and Neurotransmitter Webinar you will learn:
- Which amino acids are involved in making neurotransmitters
- What your particular profile of amino acids means as it relates to your emotional well-being
- Potential causes of your amino acid imbalances
- Genetic mutations that may be involved in your amino acid imbalance
- How to re-balance your amino acids through nutrition and supplementation
Who is the presenter?
This educational group workshop is being presented by Gail Clayton, R.Ph. to provide simple nutritional solutions for supporting a healthy neurotransmitter balance. Gail is a Registered Pharmacist with additional Graduate level Education in Nutritional Studies and Advanced Clinical Biochemistry with specialized training in Functional Medicine and test interpretation from the University of Bridgeport.
Testing provides the essential data that reveals amino acid imbalances. Once we have this information, then we can design a program of restoration of nutrition and supplementation.
Who would benefit from participating?
Anyone suffering from depression, anxiety, panic attacks, abnormal thoughts or fixations, bi-polar, schizophrenia, or any mental or emotional imbalances. The purpose of this workshop is to provide a cost-effective way of educating more people on how to help themselves.
What is involved in being a participant in the webinar?
You will receive a Blood Spot Amino Acid kit by Genova Diagnostics in the mail. This is an “in home” finger prick blood test that does not require you to travel to a lab to donate a specimen. You simply prick your finger and blot the blood on the pad provided and mail back to Genova in the pre-paid package provided in the kit. The test results will be returned to Gail Clayton, R.Ph. for review. After reviewing all the results, you will be divided into groups based on your amino acid pattern. You will be notified which group best fits your clinical pattern as well as the date and time of the webinar presentation. If you are unable to attend and participate in the live webinar, a link will be made available so that you may watch it at a later date. A downloadable outline of the webinar will be made available of the important points so that you will have a reference to review.
What can you expect as a personalized approach by the presenter?
